Unlike many modern propless mentalism releases, I've chosen to include a live performance in the trailer. I was able to get early access from Reid after having messaged him back in early June about my interest in paying for the project and learning it early. I have had it for about 2 weeks now, and I can tell you that it is within everyone's grasp and easy to understand, and it is not convoluted. So far, in two weeks, I have performed it about a dozen times, and so far I am 12/12. There is an online Trident tool that you can use to practice, which is great!. Highly recommended!
Trident is easy to learn. Even if you know nothing about magic or mentalism, you can learn how to perform this in less than 5 minutes, it’s that simple. The highest compliment I can give Trident is that it is now my “show me something” effect. Trident can be performed while standing in line for coffee without carrying a single prop. The value of an effect for me boils down to, “How many times will I actually perform this over the next 5 years?”. This will end up being my most performed effect.

Not difficult. The videos are done really well, the process is explained really clearly, with a PDF of the script included too. The training tool is a great idea and works really well. I’m far from an experienced mentalist, but blew my partners mind within minutes of learning the process. I can’t wait to start performing it on ‘real people’. Love it!
I've had Trident for a couple of weeks now, and after spending some time working through it, I can honestly say I've been really impressed.
What stood out to me most is how natural and direct the system feels. There's no apps or complicated processes, which means you can focus on your presentation and your spectator rather than the method. The thinking behind it is clever, and once it clicks, it feels very practical for real-world performance. Buy this!!!
I was able to get early access from Reid himself. Let me explain how easy this is to learn. I quickly messaged Reid because I knew that my act could use a new piece of mentalism and this did not disappoint! Learned the system within in 5 minutes! Reid is very thorough with his teaching, nothing is left out. I was hesitant because I am new to mentalism, but this is direct and hits hard! messaged Reid myself and said this is a little too good to be out! Personally it’s a steal at 325$! Get it now!
Trident is a brilliant, easy-to-learn propless routine with a 100% success rate across a dozen live performances. It's a keeper. However, at double the price of similar app releases, it feels like a cash grab. The trainer app recycles and repeats words too quickly after minimal practice. Easy to praise when early reviewers got it free, but I wonder what they'd say paying full price. Justifying the cost is tough; While effective, I'll hold off on purchasing high-priced presale magic releases.
An excellent project with well thought out subtleties. If performed correctly you will be seen to be a real mind reader.
Reid delivers a lot of valuable content and tools, so definitely worth the price.
